About AAT

The AAT qualification provides the relevant and practical skills to enable you to complete a wide range of accounting and finance tasks.

AAT courses are extremely flexible and open to all.

Registration with AAT

It is your responsibility to register with AAT, before commencing your courses at FBT Birmingham.

Once registered, students will receive the following from AAT:

• Notification of their registration, their registration number and a receipt of fees paid.
• A student handbook.
• Twice a year, students will receive a statement of achievement (normally in February and August). This document should be kept safe along with certificates, which will be awarded upon completion of each level of your studies.
• A copy of the Accounting Technician magazine every month.
• You will also be assigned a branch area on registration, information on local branch activities will be forwarded to you on a regular basis.

Your registration with the AAT will expire after every twelve months; you will receive a renewal notice from the AAT approximately two months prior to this.  If you do not re-register within three months your membership will lapse.
