Arts & Culture 

With more than 500,000 works of art in one square mile of the city centre, it’s fair to say that culture is alive and well and living in Birmingham. The beautiful Birmingham Hippodrome, home of the Birmingham Royal Ballet, is the country’s busiest theatre outside London, welcoming over half a million people a year.

Nightlife 

Birmingham's lively nightlife is 24/7 and offers something for everyone. A compact city centre means you can move on easily and sample everything that's on offer. If cricket is your passion, the city has an international venue to keep you entertained. Edgbaston Cricket Ground, one of England’s most famous sporting venues, has been hosting Test Match cricket for over 100 years. The has had a stunning £32 million face-lift, creating a spectacular space with first class facilities. It is also home to Warwickshire County Cricket Club and the Warwickshire Bears. Whether you enjoy the traditional format of the LV= County Championship or the faster pace of Twenty20, there is something for everyone to watch.
