At FBT, our priority is ensuring you enjoy a comprehensive business education and a unique student experience. Our Student Welfare Department is in place to ensure we provide you with this.

The Student Welfare Department, situated in SBQ 1, provides a dedicated service to meet the various needs of all students. You can come to us for general and specialist advice on a broad range of issues, including finance, community living, religious matters and health. Whether you need guidance on opening a bank account, registering with a doctor or finding accommodation in Birmingham, we're here to support you.

We're committed to helping you learn as much as possible, and want you to have a great time whilst you do so. Through us, you can enjoy a wide variety of social activities, helping you get to know both your fellow students and the city of Birmingham.

How to make an appointment?

We aim to deal with all appointment requests within 5 working days. Appointments can last between 15 to 30 minutes. For brief enquiries students can attend a drop-in session at any moment. During busy periods you may have to wait a short period of time until an adviser is available. Follow-up appointments can be booked if further assistance is required.

To cancel an appointment please give us at least 24 hours’ notice, email us using “CANCELLATION” in the subject.
