Sarah Hines

Sarah is ACA qualified and holds a BA ACA. She has gained over 15 years experience in a variety of roles and industries since qualifying with Coopers & Lybrand in 1994. These range from very technical accounting roles such as the development of accountancy software for small practitioners, to management and financial accounting roles in industry, most notably within the National Grid group where she was Finance Manager of one of the group’s subsidiary companies. As a result of this experience Sarah is able to offer students an insight into the technical challenges facing students in the accountancy profession as well as being able to share her practical ‘hands on’ experience of working in a financial environment.
